Former Bigg Boss contestants Sana Khan and Sambhavna Seth recently collaborated for a fun video, which has now gone viral on social media. However, the clip has sparked controversy, with Sana facing backlash for asking Sambhavna to wear a dupatta and burqa in a lighthearted exchange.

In the video, Sana jokingly tells Sambhavna, "Tere paas ek acchi salwar kameez nahi hai... thappad chahiye? Where is your dupatta? Burqa laao... Sambhavna ko burqa pehnao!" (You don't have a good salwar kameez? Want a slap? Where is your dupatta? Bring a burqa... Make Sambhavna wear a burqa).

As the video gained traction, some netizens criticized Sana for her comments. In response, India Forums reached out to Sambhavna for her take on the situation. Dismissing the controversy, she clarified, "That was just a fun conversation between Sana and me. We have been friends for years, and she invited me to her Ramadan special podcast. The discussion was about how I had gained weight and my clothes were getting tight. In that context, Sana jokingly mentioned bringing a dupatta for me."

Sambhavna further stated, "I completely understand that I wouldn't wear shorts for a Ramadan podcast. However, I am an individual who makes my own choices. No one can force me to wear a burqa or dictate my clothing. While I respect all religions, I am a proud Hindu and will not wear a burqa."

She also defended her friend, adding, "If I had known this conversation would take such a turn and lead to Sana being trolled, I would have never posted the video. Why would I put up something that would bring negativity to my friend?"

For the unversed, Sana Khan quit acting before marrying Anas in November 2020, embracing a more spiritual lifestyle and removing past photos from her social media.
