"I am not doing Kasautii Zindagii Kay", says Smita Singh

Star Plus' Kasautii Zindagii Kay has been one of the flagship and most iconic shows of Indian Television. The news of season 2 of Kasautii Zindagii Kay has already created a lot of buzz and garnered attention from the fans of the show.

And sections of media has been writing about the show and actors who have been approached to be a part of the show and one such name that popped up is that of Smita Singh.

Smita Singh, who previously acted in shows like Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Bhagyavidhaata and Hitler Didi, was last seen in Thapki... Pyaar Ki on Colors while essaying the character of Kosi Devi. According to some media reports, the actor has been approached for the show but when asked, the actor denied the news.

Smita exclusively spoke to Tellybuzz and stated, "It's a rumour as I have not been approached for the show. I would be really happy if I get the opportunity because I used to be thrilled to watch the show. And I am also looking at good and challenging roles."

With that, the rumours can now be put to rest.
