'I am happy that I can dance too' - Mazher Sayeed

Mazher and Mouli, Jodi No. 8 got evicted from Nach Baliye last night. Telly Buzz caught up with a disappointed, yet sportive Mazher to know about his Nach journey as he danced his way in the competition with Mouli.

“We have always been in the bottom and were ready for elimination from a long time. Anyways eviction was not in our hands. It may be very shocking for others, but not for us,” says Mazher.

The duo bid goodbye to everyone with a big smile. “We thanked everyone, our judges, co-participants and the audience who love us. It was a nice experience for me and a good platform too, as I never liked dancing but still tried, and received love and accolades from every one,” he adds.

Mouli got emotional on stage. “She has made many friends during the journey of the show. In the end, she cried a bit as everybody came on stage and hugged us. Seeing them getting emotional, she was also carried away with the emotions,” quips the actor.

What is your take away from Nach? “The best part of this journey is that we have ruled the heart of our audiences. We saw lot of people voting and praying for us. Where ever we went, like in malls etc, people came to us and said that we want you in the show. Now even I'm confident when it comes to dancing, but will never take any dance reality show. I would rather love to go for stage shows,” avers Mazher.

So what’s next for you? “Now that I’m no more with Nach, it’s a great relief. Well currently there is nothing to do as I will be soon opting out from Saat Phere. Let’s see what comes my way after this”, says the actor.

“I’m grateful to Nach for such an opportunity. Mouli has always been a good dancer but now even I can shake my legs. I would like to give credits to my choreographers,” concludes the actor.

The way in which Jodi No. 8 sizzled on the dance floor every time was a sheer joy to the eyes!!
