Season 7 of MTV Unplugged is all set to go on air from the 9th of December, on MTV India. And the show has a stellar line-up of musicians who are charged up to mesmerize the audience.

Veteran singer Shankar Mahadevan who is an integral part of this show is quite excited to wow the viewers.

When asked about what unique flavor will his music add to the show, he said, "I have always felt that there was a lack of little sampling of Indian classical music so I have chosen that path. I feature a lot of classical artists and therefore, we bring in a lot of Indian classical music, jazz and rock and a lot of other genres of music. I don't know if it's right to say this, but I will be educating the layman about other forms of music."

Well, we await to see what the singing sensation has to offer to us.
