Actor Tarun Khanna, who was last seen essaying a shrewd character of Thakur Tejavat in Colors' Rangrasiya and now trying his hands in doing something different on screen by portraying the role of a lawyer in Sony TV's Bhanwar which aims to educate the masses about the social happenings in the society, will be seen in a new show.

While Tarun has essayed serious roles till now, he will be seen playing a light hearted and comedy character in Zee TV's Neeli Chhatri Wale under the banner of Garima Productions.

Our source informs us, "Tarun Khanna will enter in the show as Bobby's (Disha Savla) college friend, he will come to Kanpur for some work. So when everyone will start appreciating Tarun Khanna, Bhagwan Das will feel insecure. Later audience will also see a boxing match between Bhagwandas and him."

We got in touch with Tarun Khanna and he says, "I am content to work with the team of Neeli Chhatri Wale, I feel they all are apt for the role. Ashwini Dheer himself is a writer so he has a great sense of comedy and also I share a very good equation with Yashpal Sharma. Since a long time I have been doing serious kind of roles hence I wanted a break so when this opportunity came my way, there was no second thought."
