The anticipation is soaring as the Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone starrer "Fighter" prepares for its theatrical release. With an impressive advance booking collection, the Siddharth Anand-directed film has already amassed a staggering Rs 2.9 crores for its opening day, creating a buzz that signals a promising start.
According to sacnilk.com, "Fighter" has successfully secured 88,190 advance bookings for its opening day across India. The highest sales were reported in key regions such as Delhi, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Telangana, and Karnataka, showcasing the widespread excitement among audiences.
Film trade insider Taran Adarsh provided insights into the advance booking scenario, tweeting, "Fighter advance booking report: For its opening day - All India tickets sold - 90K National chains (PIC) - 40K. Total advance booking Gross - ₹3 Crore." Adarsh's prediction hints at the film crossing the ₹3 crore mark in advance ticket sales, indicating a remarkable response from the audience.
Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures, "Fighter" is scheduled to hit the screens on Republic Day Eve. The film promises an exhilarating cinematic experience, centered around a new and elite unit named Air Dragons. Commissioned by the Air Headquarters in response to militant activities in the Srinagar Valley, the storyline pays tribute to the valor, sacrifice, and patriotism of the Indian armed forces.
During the trailer launch, Siddharth Anand expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "Come on January 25 to cheer and love the film. We have given it our all. It is not an easy film. I've made a decent amount of action films but this has been another journey altogether. Everybody has contributed towards the film. It's a team effort, this is not a one-man show."
