Holi has the divine power to bring love and light into our lives: Namik Paul of ‘Lag Ja Gale’

Holi Haii!!

The festival of colors, Holi, is celebrated across the country with great zeal and enthusiasm. And interestingly, the festival is celebrated in incredibly different ways with uniqueness by each Indian state with a beautiful blend of different cultures and traditions. The festival brings out the child in us. So, when it’s that time of the year again, it’s a crime to stay calm. Everyone has made plans as to how they are going to spend their Holi.

India Forums got in touch with Zee TV actors Aishwarya Khare and Namik Paul and asked them about their thoughts on the festival of colors.

Aishwarya Khare, who essays the role of Lakshmi in Zee TV’s Bhagya Lakshmi mentioned, “Holi is one of my favourite festivals. I love the vibe of this festival, it is filled with colors, love and so much happiness around. When I was young, along with my sister I used to start playing Holi 1 week prior to Holi with friends in the neighbourhood. Filling water balloons, buying a new ‘Pichhkari’, my favorite colour Gulaal, and meeting friends in the morning to play Holi is something I miss a lot. However, this year, I plan to celebrate Holi with my co-actors and friends and see if we all can attend a Holi party in town.  I wish everyone a very happy and safe Holi this year, spend time with your loved ones and enjoy the festival.” 

Namik Paul, who essays the role of Shiv Dhoopar in Zee TV’s Lag Ja Gale mentioned, “Holi has the divine power to bring love and light into our lives even during the darkest of times. I remember from my childhood days how excited we used to be the night before Holi and have the best time of our lives the following morning! I look forward to celebrating Holi this year with my new ‘Lag Ja Gale’ team and applying herbal colors on their faces because they have become my extended family now.
