The year 2011 is all set to bid adieu. This year we've seen a lot of on screen couples bidding adieu as well. With just a few hours left for dawn, let us take a flashback of the chemistry that we miss even today. Here are some on screen couples which still remain afresh in our minds.

Shantanu-Khanak (Karan Tacker and Yashashri Masurkar): Another cute couple from Star One which worked wonders. The
romance between the village girl and the handsome boy from Mumbai
captured millions of hearts through the show.

Maan-Geet (Gurmeet Choudhary
and Drashti Dhami): The news of Geet Hui Sabse Parayi going off air came
as a blow to all the Maan and Geet fans. The hate mails for the channel
and the production house were umpteen. The chemistry between Drashti
and Gurmeet captured the Indian audience's hearts and they continue to
want more of them.

Kesar-Gulaal
(Neil Bhatt and Manasi Parekh): Their unique pairing is still afresh in
everyone's mind. Though, the show took more than a ten year leap, the
love story of a young boy and the elder woman was portrayed and carried
beautifully by Neil and Manasi.

Abhay-Piya (Vivian Dsena and Sukirti Kandpal): Ekta Kapoor gifted the Indian television a never-before told love story of a vampire and human, through the Star One show Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani. And she portrayed the story with a perfect chemistry between Vivian and Sukirti. Though the show went off air, the couple will be remembered forever as the most unique one.

Viren-Nivedita (Kinshuk Mahajan
and Neha Sargam): A complicated love story that began as vengeance and
hatred turned out to be an inseparable union. Kinshuk and Neha portrayed
the roles of innocent lovers in the most convincing manner.

Rudr-Gauri
(Iqbal Khan and Binny Sharma): With Sanjog Se Bani Sangini Iqbal Khan
made a comeback to television and we got another actor cum dancer, Binny
Sharma. Rudr and Gauri became a household name in India where people
liked to discuss about two different people who became an ultimate
couple.

Prem- Nandini (Gaurav Khanna and Vandana Joshi): Gaurav's
and Vandana's portrayal of the immature and the mature Prem and Nandini
is worth to watch. Though Vandana was new then, Gaurav complemented her
with his talent.

Shravan-Saanchi (Barun Sobti and Ankita
Sharma): It was a treat to watch the flamboyant Shravan and the matured
and simple Saanchi. It was another treat to watch to see their small
fights and nok-jhok that eventually turned into love. Barun and Ankita
proved to be an adorable couple on television.

Arjun-Arohi (Karan Kundra and Kritika Kamra) - On popular demand, the couple was brought
back with Kitani Mohabbat Hain Season 2 and they became the hottest
couple on television. The heating chemistry did work for the second
time, but could not hold the audience for long. But they are still on
the popular demand list.
Tomorrow a new year begins with a new day and we promise to give you a special treat.
