Hip Hip Hurray! Its back after 15 years!

The popular 90s show is set to comeback on television with new characters.

One of the most popular and loved youth-based series of all time, 'Hip Hip Hurray' made a roaring entry on television and instantly made an everlasting impact. It became the launching pad of today's popular television actors like Kishwer Merchant, Shveta Salve, Shabbir Ahluwalia and Vishal Malhotra among others.

Becoming one of the first shows to tackle teenage problems and untouched issues, the show became a sleeper hit and gathered a cult status in the following years.

According to a leading entertainment daily, after almost 15 years, the show is set to make a return to Indian television with similar concept and new faces as the central characters. Its touted to be a coming-of-age story tackling peer pressure, teenage love, sexuality etc. Actor Anshuman Malhotra who was last seen in the show, Warrior High and in the film Haider as young version of Shahid Kapoor is reportedly to play a pivotal role.
