Hina Khan has been openly discussing her journey with breast cancer on social media, sharing both her challenges and triumphs. The actress is focused on maintaining a positive outlook and finding solace in her circumstances. In the midst of her courageous battle, she expressed a touching message about her greatest source of inspiration—cancer survivors who live their lives with unwavering determination despite their struggles.

In her recent post, Hina took a moment to reflect on a memorable scene from her earlier reel, where she discussed Sanjay Dutt's battle with cancer. She highlighted that the elderly gentleman in the wheelchair next to him was Dr. Suresh Advani, known as the Father of Oncology in India. Hina expressed how his guidance has played a crucial role in her own journey.

Hina reminisced about her sessions with Dr. Advani, where he advised her to keep as much normalcy in her life as possible during chemotherapy.

He asked me to shoot and do everything if my body allows in chemotherapy, to walk at least 5 km and exercise every day or go about my business as much as I can—striking normalcy within the limits of my body

She also highlighted how Dr. Advani mentioned cancer patients who undergo chemotherapy yet still manage to travel on local trains to continue working. "That's my inspiration! Those are my heroes, and I take inspiration from their spirit of not giving up," she added.

The actress candidly discussed the difficulties she faces during chemotherapy, recognizing the significant emotional and physical impact it has on her. She talked about the tough days, sleepless nights, and the scars—both physical and emotional—that drive her resolve to persevere. "It's my belief that 90% of the cancer journey is mental and only 10% is physical. It's about finding the balance," she shared, emphasizing her mantra of "Mind Over Matter."
