Hina Khan talks about going through ups and downs in her life; credits these people for her strength

Hina Khan continues to inspire her fans with her courage and determination in confronting stage three breast cancer. Renowned for her fearless demeanor, Hina is seen doing really good in her professional life too. Recently, while talking to News18 Showsha, she called herself ‘blessed' to have a loving family and partner with her.

Despite facing health challenges, Hina persevered, attending events and strutting the ramp. She attributes her resilience and the support of her loved ones at home for her ability to keep going. “I’m a very strong person. I’ve to pat myself on the back for this. I’m also very responsible. I’ve been like this throughout the ups and downs in my life, including the time when my dad passed away. But at the same time, I think your family and loved one play a very important part," she points out.

I get the strength from the people – my partner Rocky, my mother, my brother, my cousins and Rocky’s family – around me. I’ve so much love around me. Touch wood! Alhamdulillah, nazar na lage. That love keeps me going. It has really, really helped me reach where I’m today. I also can’t even begin to tell you how much my admirers’ wishes have meant to me, especially, in this journey

For those unaware, the duo crossed paths on the sets of her first TV show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, in 2009, where he held the role of the supervising producer. Their initial friendship blossomed into love over time.

Not long ago, Hina posted a picture with Rocky during their Maldives getaway. The photo captured her resting her head on Rocky's shoulder. Pouring her heart out about his presence in her life, she penned,“Through thick and thin..We will get through this… Yes, we will… InshaAllah."

Talking about her upcoming show Griha Laxmi, Hina says, "It was supposed to release a while back in October last year but they couldn’t because of my health. Kehta hai na ki upar waala sab kuch plan karke rakhte hain. None of this was planned. We weren’t waiting to start the promotions of Griha Laxmi and release it after my diagnosis. But now that this is happening, people are relating my character to my real-life personality even more."
