Hina Khan: Smartphone Has A Strong Message About Not Underestimating Anyone

Gorgeous and supremely talented Hina Khan is back with yet another interesting show, Smartphone with Kunal Roy Kapur. The actress was last seen in Bollywood movie, Hacked with Rohan Shah. Hina can be seen portraying a never seen before avatar in the drama. 

Hina Khan got into a candid conversation with a leading entertainment portal where she spoke about Smartphone, her character, and a lot more.

Speaking about her new digital film, Smartphone, Hina said, “It’s a beautiful story. It chronicles the journey of my character Suman, who belongs from a small village in Uttar Pradesh. She gets married to Chandan, played by Kunal Roy Kapur, and they move to Mumbai. She is awestruck in the big city and also gets acquainted with the smartphone that her husband gifts her. The story takes a new turn when her husband, who is into gambling, bets her off in a game. And one has to see what happens next, and how she tackles the situation. It has a very strong message of how you shouldn’t underestimate anyone.”

She further spoke about how life was back then without smartphones. Hina said, "We used to sit in front of our telephone and wait for our school and college crushes. And then our mums would pick the phone and it would be all silent (laughs). It was one sweet time, where we used to meet people, spend time with them. Now it’s all technological.”
