Priyanka Chopra made a bold statement at Grammy’s 2020 with a beautiful plunging white Ralph and Russo dress. She looked breathtakingly gorgeous, however, her navel baring dress seems to not have impressed many. The actress was mercilessly trolled on social media, and also faced the wrath of nasty comments against her outfit.
In fact, designer Wendell Rodricks too had commented on Priyanka’s dress, criticizing her, which created a storm online. Actress Suchitra Krishmnamoorthi had then taken to Instagram to hail the actress for not trying to hide her belly in photos.
And now, actress Hina Khan has come in support of Priyanka and hit back at trolls for calling out the actress for her fashion choices.
In an interview with Zoom TV, Hina said: “I don’t understand. Who are you to comment on somebody’s clothes if she is comfortable?”
She also slammed the trolls and challenged them to carry that outfit for even 10 minutes. “I have been telling this to people. I challenge you to wear that outfit for 10 minutes. It’s not easy to wear. It’s not an easy-breezy, flowy, covered outfit that you can just pose and do stuff. It is tricky, God! You got to have that elegance, grace and courage to wear such an outfit” she asserted.
PC’s mother Madhu Chopra also stood in her daughter’s support and said that “I am glad it happened because I feel it made her stronger. She lives life on her own terms. As long as she is not harming or hurting anybody, it’s her body and she can do what she wants. And she is a beautiful one too.”
Priyanka too had shared a cryptic note on her social media about love and hate and stated that “Be kind to the ones around you. It matters. Life is a gift.”
