Recently, Preity Zinta withdrew the 2014 molestation case that she had filed against her former boyfriend Ness Wadia.

As per fresh reports, the Bombay High Court scrapped the case and asked Preity to finish off the matter. In response to the Court, Preity's advocated said that she will withdraw the case and bury the hatchet if Ness apologizes to her.

Now, as per a report in India Today, Ness has apologized to Preity submitted an affidavit, following which the actress had withdrawn all charges against him. The two had appeared in Bombay High Court where Justice Ranjit More held the session.

On June 13, 2014, Preity had filed a complaint of molestation and abuse by her then-boyfriend Ness Wadia at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium during an IPL match between Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings.

In her complaint, she had further alleged that Ness was abusing the team and when Preity tried to calm him down, he grabbed her by the arm and abused her.

Further, this year in February, the Mumbai Police filed a charge sheet under sections 354 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code.
