Here's why Nakuul Mehta would choose TELEVISION over BOLLYWOOD!!

We live in the times, where telly actors venturing into Bollywood considering it as their 'big break' is a common phenomenon. Actor Rajeev Khandelwal was one of the first ones to do so in the past and is most recently followed by mega actors like Karan Singh Grover and Gurmeet Choudhary too.

While, the success and failure the actors obtain in that space is debatable, the trend doesn't seem to be getting 'out-of-trend' anytime soon.

However, here, we are talking about actor Nakuul Mehta aka Shivaay from 'Ishqbaaaz'.

Nakuul is undeniably one of the most popular telly actors currently, where his stint as Shivaay in 'Ishqbaaaz' has garnered him a lot of accolades and appreciation.

So, is he willing to do it and will be QUITTING 'Ishqbaaaz'?

Be rest assured, as Nakuul is having NO plans of doing so. Nakuul mentioned that he is probably the only actor in tellyworld, who is not keen on Bollywood projects. He said that he totally understands and respects the reach that television provides and he is not lured by Bollywood. He also mentioned that even if a respective show is not a 'great' show, people would still watch you no matter what. He clarified that he is in no way willing to run away from this and try and do something which might or might not work for him.

It is quite uncanny, where Nakuul was initially a Bollywood face, where he debuted with the film, 'Haal-E-Dil' before venturing into TV.

On being asked about the amount of popularity 'Ishqbaaaz' has given him, he said that a lot of people are actually shocked to see him in such a different avatar. But, he is overwhelmed with the love and is glad that this 'different' image is being appreciated.

On his projects outside TV, he said that he is glad with the response he got on his first production of web-series and he will continue to do 'different' things otherwise.
