Here's why Aishwarya Rai Slammed Paparazzi and Broke Down

Being a Bollywood celebrity has its own pros and cons - one of the cons being the constant media attention. Now, for an actress like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the paparazzi's are bound to follow the actress wherever she goes.

Recently, mommy Aishwarya hosted a grand birthday bash for daughter Aaradhya Bachchan's 6^th birthday in the presence of the Bachchan family at their Juhu residence. At the event, Aishwarya with her family happily posed for the shutterbugs.

But yesterday on the birth anniversary of her late father Krishnaraj Rai - Aishwarya expected to have a quiet affair with the actress sponsoring the treatment of 100 kids who were born with cleft lips and palates, a condition her father was born with as well. Accompanying Aish at the smile foundation was her mother Vrinda Rai and Aaradhya.

Little did Aishwarya know that her star status can become a sort of an issue in what was meant to be a personal moment for the actress. Aishwarya not only sponsored the kid's surgeries but also cut a cake in her father's memory.

This entire moment was captured by the shutterbugs but Aishwarya wasn't too pleased to greet them. According to a report by Times Now, the 44-year-old actress overwhelmed by the paparazzi's presence got irritated by the chaos and reached a point of tears. She instantly asked the paps to stop clicking her pictures.

Agitated at their behaviour, a teary eyed Aishwarya pleaded to the paparazzi, "Please stop it. You guys don't know the work. This is not a premiere. This is not another public event. Please show some respect guys. What's wrong with you all?"
