Here's What Our Telly Industry is Upto This Dhanteras...

Vivek Dahiya: Since Dhanteras is considered an auspicious day, I am thinking about making some sort of an investment that day. Rather than buying something which is materialistic I would rather invest in something which grows as me for me growth is positive! I'm sure our family will also invest in buying some jewelry which has been a tradition for years.

Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya: This Dhanteras I am planning to buy something special for my mother in law, which will help her bake delicious food in the kitchen at ease. That in itself is a big hint to what the gift is! Going back to my dhanteras memories, we would always buy a good set of utensils on the day, as that was ideally the best day to revive our kitchen at home. We would also invest in a silver coin, which we would do puja of on the main diwali day back then. Dhanteras was really like a big shopping spree for us!

Sourabh Raaj Jain: Somethings should be celebrated according to tradition and hence for us Dhanteras is about making that investment for good luck. Every year my mom tends to buy a gold coin which I feel is a good investment rather than jewelry per say as you can decide to make something out of it, keep it for years and let it appreciate or sell it when you want to.

Juhi Parmar: Rather than investing into a material gift, this Diwali our investment is going to be in our name plate. And what makes the name plate special is that my daughter Samairra has made it. Our house is under renovation and we are soon going to be moving back into it but I feel this Diwali I am investing into my child's creativity because by encouraging her I am seeding growth for her to keep trying her hands at the arts and crafts she loves. I am a proud mother because my little princess has made it herself with her tiny hands and a heart full of love. I have never had a nameplate outside my house for a specific reason and there couldn't have been a better reason to have one now! Samairra's name plate has been made with lots of love and positivity, both of which now dominate our life!

Gautam Rode: This Dhanteras I will be buying some pieces of gold for the family, as that is what we usually invest in on the day. And recalling my Dhanteras memories, most of them consist of the whole family going to the temple for puja, buying new material for our home and then enjoying a good meal with everyone together.
