In an exclusive conversation with India Forums, Nikki said, "This special day reminds us that goodness always wins. When I was in Delhi, my family and I had a tradition. We used to go watch an amazing Ramleela during Navaratri in Chandni Chowk and during Dussehra when they set fire to the giant Raavan effigy in the evening; it felt like a celebration of unity and doing what's right. During Dussehra, we used to start the day by going to a local sweet shop to buy Jalebi and Rabri, it was our way of beginning the festival. And at the end of the day, we used to attend the fun fair where there were loads of games and shopping options. Things have changed now, but our enthusiasm for celebrating Dussehra remains the same. I hope this Dussehra continues to inspire us to be good and celebrate the victory of light over darkness. Sending wishes for a happy Dussehra to everyone!”
