Here's what Akshay Kumar has to say about his character in 2.0

At the event during an interaction with the media, when Akshay was asked about how he prepared himself for his character this is what the actor had to say, "I did nothing for my character in 2.0. I just heard the subject and went on the set. A lot of things my make-up did. The maximum thing I did was I just learnt my lines and performed. I am lucky because my director had done so much of homework so I had nothing to do. He already had skin deep knowledge of my character and so he helped me. I actually didn't have anything to do as it was very straight for me to just perform".

"It took me about three and a half hour to apply the make-up and 1 and half hour to remove it, that's all", he adds.

Directed by S. Shankar, the film 2.0 stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in the lead roles. This film is a sequel to 2010 Tamil film titled Enthiran where both Rajini sir and Akshay will be portraying the role of Doctors.

With an estimated budget of approximately 450 crore, 2.0 is slated to release on 25^th January, 2018. Also to know that this film is the most expensive Indian film made to date. The film is shot simultaneously in both Tamil and Hindi.
