Vijayendra Kumeria has been winning hearts with his stint in Star Plus's popular show 'Teri Meri Doriyaann.' The actor who essays the character of Angad Brar, a rich business man in the show spoke to us about all the love the show has received and a lot more.
Talking about how overwhelming is the response of the audience to the show and his character, Vijayendra said, ''It is all pretty overwhelming and it feels great. Even though my character is not always 'totally correct,' and has flaws, yet people like it, It is a win win situation for all of us.''
Teri Meri Doriyaann has managed to garner a lot of love in a short span of time. When we asked the actor about the same and what according to him is the USP of the show, he said, ''I think it is because our show is different from all the other shows on television as of now. The story in our show is different from what the audience is seeing on other shows right now. Also, I think the cultural backdrop of our show plays a huge part. And to top it all, all the actors in TMD are pretty amazing. So, I dont think so I will be able to give you one single USP, because honestly there are so many positive aspects about our show.''
Teri Meri Doriyaann is adapted from Star Jalsha's popular Bengali show 'Gaatchora.' We asked Vijayendra if he has followed the show and drawn any inspirations from it and the characters too. To this the actor said, ''I have watched two episodes of the show, not more than that. Yes, I observed the character and took a slight inspiration. I thought about the things I could imbibe and things I can add on my own. Thankfully, the makers have given me that much liberty and space to add my own inputs to the character.''
When we asked Vijayendra what according to him makes his chemistry with costar Himanshi so appealing to the audience, the actor said, ''I think it is the contrast in both our characters and of course the give and take too. When a chemistry is loved, it is usually the team work of both the actors. Both the characters are completely opposite to each other. As far as I have seen, such chemistries are generally loved by the audience.''
