Actress Tannishtha Chatterjee recently lashed out on Colors TV. According to her, the show Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza has insulted her by making jokes about her skin colour. The TV channel replied to her about how she fails to understand the concept of the show and is unnecessarily hyping things.

Krushna Abhishek, who is one of the leading comedians of the country is also a very important part of Comedy Nights Bachaao. In Conversation with a Media Firm, The actor said that Tannishtha is doing all this for publicity. He said that they always meet the actors before the show and Tannishtha had assured him that she has seen the show before and understands the concept of the show. He also said that the team focused more on Radhika Apte as she is a bigger star and this might have offended her. He feels that if she knew about their concept and didnt like it, she shouldn't have come on the show.
