Helly Shah and Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar perform 'SINDOOR KHELA' for the first time!

Navratri is being celebrated in full fervor not only on the garba grounds but in TV shows too. This festival has its unique significance and is celebrated in different ways in every religion. 

As Swaragini (Colors) follows the Bengali tradition, the Maheshwari house has got together to celebrate Durga Pooja and the 'Sindoor Khela' ritual. 

Shooting for the sequence were actors Helly Shah and Tejasswi Prakash Wayangankar who thoroughly enjoyed the practice so much that Tejasswi wanted to participate in the festivity in real life too!

She states, "Sindoor Khela is a ritual which celebrates the happiness of being married. It beautifies a woman's feminity. Helly and I initially thought that playing with sindoor would look funny but when we actually shot it, we realized that the sindoor only enhances the beauty of a woman. Our faces looked all the more pretty and not funny at all. We had a lot of fun shooting for the sindoor khela ritual and I hope to enjoy the festivity off the sets too in the Pandals in Mumbai or Kolkata."

It sure must be fun!
