HBO's Controversial Show, 'Euphoria' Gets Renewed For Season 2

The much-talked-about but popular show is going to be back for a new season...

Yes, it is coming back. After all the hullaballoo and constant controversies surrounding HBO's Euphoria, many would have wondered on whether the channel will bring the show back for yet another season. However, that is happening for sure as it was confirmed only recently.

According to a report in Variety, Euphoria will be back with a new season and even though it has been a subject of constant conversation, there is no denying that the show has been really popular and attained record viewership too.

The series debuted on June 16 and follows 17-year-old Rue Bennett (Zendaya), a drug addict fresh from rehab, who’s struggling to make sense of her future. Her life changes dramatically when she meets Jules Vaughn (Hunter Schafer), a girl who recently moved to town following her parents’ divorce, and like Rue is searching for where she belongs

In addition to Zendaya and Schafer, the series also stars Maude Apatow, Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Storm Reid, Algee Smith, and Sydney Sweeney.

It was created and written by Sam Levinson, who also serves as executive producer. Ravi Nandan, Kevin Turen, Drake, Future the Prince, Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, Tmira Yardeni, Mirit Toovi, Yoram Mokady, Gary Lennon, and Jim Kleverweis also executive produce. Scott Turner Schofield serves as the show’s transgender consultant. Jeremy O. Harris is also a consultant on the series.
