Having Anushka and Vamika around is enough celebration for me : Virat Kohli

Celebrations were doubled on the occasion of Virat Kohli's birthday yesterday after India’s massive win over Scotland in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2021, Indian skipper Virat Kohli opened up about celebrations as he turned a year older on Friday.

Expressing his feelings after the match,Virat dropped hints about a lowkey celebration with his wifey Anushka Sharma and their daughter Vamika who are currently in Dubai with him for the match.

He said, 

“I think I am over that phase now. No, I mean, my family is here. Anushka and Vamika are here. That's enough celebration for me. Just having families around in these times in bio-bubble life is very difficult. That's a blessing in itself. The team has been amazing. Everyone wished me.”

Meanwhile, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma had penned down a mushy birthday note for hubby ahead of his Friday match. 

Sharing a picture with the birthday boy in a desi attire, she showered love upon him and wrote, 

“No filter needed , for this photo and the way you lead your life . Your core is made of honesty and guts of steel . Courage that pales doubt into oblivion . I know no one who can pick themselves up from a dark place like you can . You grow better in every way because you hold on to nothing in you as permanent and are fearless . I know we are not ones to talk to each other through social media like this but sometimes I just want to scream and tell the world what an amazing man you are. Fortunate are those who really truly know you . Thank you for making everything brighter and more beautiful."

On the work front, Sharma has taken a break post the birth of Vamika. While she is producing films and working in advertisements, the actress has not yet announced which will be her next movie. Her fans have been eagerly waiting for an announcement about it.
