Harsh Nagar to return to 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2' next week

Star Plus' popular show, Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 went through quite a few developments recently when it was sealed that actor Gautam Vig has been roped in play the lead opposite leading lady Sneha Jain in the show, This led to an instant speculation that actor Harsh Nagar, who has been absent from the show for a while will thus be quitting the show. 

However, it has now been confirmed that Nagar has not only dismissed these rumors but is, in fact, set to make his return to the show next week as a new track in the show. Talking about it with ETimes TV, Nagar said, "It is true that I had taken a break from the show because the makers had roped in another actor. But after a month now, they want me to return, and I am looking forward to it. I would not like to get into the details of why I took a break for a month and the reason for my comeback."

He added, "In the earlier season, too, a similar track was there, and the lead actor had vanished for a while only to come back. I enjoy playing Anant and have got used to playing this character now."

When asked what was he doing during this time off, he said, "While I was on a break, I enjoyed my time in Ahmedabad. I also visited my family in Delhi and spent quality time with my wife. It was a good month to finish all my pending work at home and just relax. I enjoy travelling and just chilling at home. I enjoy doing TV and have gotten used to working long hours."

Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2 is the sequel to Saath Nibhana Saathiya that began airing in October 2020.
