"Hard work and belief in my dreams helped me achieve what I am today!" - Falguni Sharma

Our TV world is fascinating and actors from various cities enter the city of dreams to make it big on the small and the 70mm screens. Falguni Sharma is one of those actresses who ventured into journalism at first and now is trying her hands into the variations the acting industry has to offer.

Tables turned for the cute and bubbly girl when she landed up with a role with the ace production house, Balaji Telefilms show Pavitra Bandhan on DD National. Her stint on TV after the big ticket show was followed by episodic shows and now, Falguni has been roped into being a part of a 3-month continuity role in &TV's Waaris.

Ask her about her aspirations in the field of acting and she avers, "For me, acting is exploring my life with new characters. I played a bubbly character in Pavitra Bandhan, I did gumrah, where I was essaying a girl who was as sexy as the character of Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra portrayed in Aitraaz. I am now a part of Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki on Colors, where I play a nerd who is stupid yet sweet and subsequently I have bagged Waaris where I project a negative image of a high school girl."

"When I started my career in acting, I was nervous about whether I will be able to make it or not. But now, I know that if one works hard and believes in his or her dreams, nothing can stop one from achieving what they aspired. This is just the beginning of my career and I am sure I have a long way to go," she added.
