Let's find out from our TV stars about
the Ganesh Festival...
Sangeeta Ghosh as Saanchi in Kehta
Hai Dil... Jee Le Zaara: "I love Ganesh Chaturti festival.
The environment is really amazing, divine and peaceful with lightings
everywhere. During Ganesh festival my few close friends and family get Ganpati
at their house so I make it a point to visit it once and take Ganpati Bappa's
blessings. I believe in Siddhivinayak and try to visit the temple whenever I
get time from my shootings. I love to eat Modak. This Ganesh festival for
now I don't have any plans as I might be shooting."
Delnaaz Irani as Dilshaad in Kehta
Hai Dil Jee Le Zaara: "I am a huge devote of Ganpati Bappa, I just adore
Ganpati festival. In my childhood days when I used to live in Dadar I used to
watch Lalbaug ka Raja passing through my house and I used to get so excited to
see them, so huge and divine. Every year I make sure to visit Siddhivinayak
temple and get bappa's blessing. I have few close family and friends who get
Ganpati at their house so I do visit there. I also love the whole visrajan
part, the dancing, the enjoyment and everything is so much of fun. This year I
don't have any plans till now because I am shooting but still I will try
to at least visit Siddhivinayak once."

Sulbha
Deshpande as Dadi in Kehta Hai Dil... Jee Le Zaara : "I am a stern believer in Ganpati. I
always pray ganpati to keep everyone happy. When I was young we always
got Ganpati at our house. Those days were really fun, like making sweets,
cleaning house, making decoration for ganpati festival and singing
ganpati aarti's. The environment is very peaceful and happy everywhere. My
bother in law also gets Ganesh idol at my in-laws place. In total I have got 50
Ganesh idols at my house which my friends and family had gifted me. I
desperately wait for this festival. No plans for this year because of work and
even I can't travel much. But I will enjoy with my family members and In-laws."
Aanchal Munjal as Pihu in Bade Acche Lagta Hai : "I love Ganapti; it's one of my
favorite festivals. I had a desire that the day I get my own house I will
get Ganpati to my place but my mom didn't agree to it. She told me if we get it
once then every year we have to get it and due to my busy schedule I don't know
if that can be possible. But I do have a permanent Ganpati idol
in my house whose Puja I do every morning. My very close friend gets
Ganpati at her place so I make a point to go there and attend their Aarti and
also the visarjan. I love dancing during visarjans I don't care who is around
me I will just dance and have my fun. Every year I and my mother think of
visiting Lalbaugcha Raja someday but it still has not happened so I wish I can
go this year."
Chandni Bhagwanani as Amita in
Amita Ka Amit : "In my childhood we use to get
Ganpati at my place. It was really amazing time and peaceful environment at
home. I use to help my mom in making sweets, cleaning house and dad in
decoration; we use to start all this preparation one week before. Now that I
have started working and at the same time I am studying too so I don't get
time. But I really miss those days it was really fun. No plans for this Ganesh
Chaturti, I may celebrate with my family."

Rajashri Thakur Vaidya as Maharani Jaywanta bai in Bharat Ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap : "Ganesh
Chaturthi has been very close to my heart because every year I keep Ganpati in
my house for one and half day. At my mother's place it comes for seven days and
I personally do all the preparations for it. Ganpati festival to me means a
time for family get together, sweets distributions and lots of masti in the
house."
Aashka Goradia as Maharani Dheer Bai Bhatiyani in in Bharat
Ka Veer Yodha Maharana Pratap: "Ganpati is really special festival
for all Hindu cultures. Ganapti festival for me is the time when we
visit our friends and family, be with them, have fun, dance and take blessings
from our beloved Bappa."

Shivaji
Satam as ACP
in
CID : "I celebrate Ganesh Chaturti with my family members. I don't get
Ganesh's Idol at my place in Mumbai, but we get it at our native place. I
believe in Ganesh and I am totally blessed with Ganapati's blessing. Every
year those ten days of Ganpati are really special to me. I have no plans for
this year because I will be shooting incase if I get chance I might visit my
native place because the environment of Ganesh Chaturti at my native place is
totally awesome."
