Happy Birthday Esha Gupta!

Today, on the 28th of November, we grab the occasion to celebrate the birthday of the gorgeous Esha Gupta with all her friends, family and fans.

Born in Delhi in the year 1985, this model-turned-actress turns 28 and is writing new pages in the book of her life. Her father was an Air-Force officer, her mother a homemaker and she has a sister, Neha Gupta. Esha studied Mass Communication in Manipal University, Karnataka when she was chosen for a law scholarship at Newcastle University. Conversely, leaving such a prestigious opportunity to pursue studies abroad, the pretty lass chose the world of glamour and entertainment.
In the year 2007, Gupta was crowned as Miss India in the national beauty pageant and received the opportunity to contend for Miss India International. Though she didn't win the latter, her attractive features did not go unnoticed as she soon appeared in the 2010 edition of the awaited Kingfisher calendar.

It was much later when Esha received her big break in Bollywood and signed her first Bollywood film, Mahesh Bhatt's Jannat 2, opposite Emraan Hashmi. The film released in 2012 and was a major success. Later the same year, she was seen in movies such as Raaz 3, again opposite Emraan Hashmi along with Bipasha Basu and Prakash Jha's Chakravyuh. 2013 has not seen much of the dusky beauty except for a small dance sequence in the just-released Imran Khan-Kareena Kapoor starrer, Gori Tere Pyar Mein. However, it is speculated that she has signed a few films under the Vishesh Films banner which are lined up to release in the upcoming year of 2014.
