Hamari Devrani touches the 200 episode mark..

Star Plus' afternoon show Hamari Devrani, produced by Shobhna Desai Productions completed a successful run of 200 episodes this Wednesday, on March 25th.

The unit has not yet had time to rejoice as they were too busy putting up a bank for the coming week. However, we talked to Shobhna Desai who expressed her happiness on achieving this milestone. "I am happy that we have crossed the 200 episode mark. I have touched this when I was working on Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka, and it feels good that Hamari Devrani too has seen the same success".

The real face of the Jethanis of Nanavati family is now exposed before Bhakti (Krishna Gokhani) and she is having a horrid time believing the truth.

We talked to the Story Writer of Hamari Devrani, Raakesh Paswan who said, "It was a coincidence that Bhakti got to know about the Jethanis ulterior motive on March 25th, exactly on the date we completed 200 episodes. In other words, I can say that it took 200 long episodes for the truth to come out".

"It has been a nice journey until now, and the story of the Jethanis revelation has been accepted by the viewers nicely. There has been a rise in our TRPs too, and we reached 2.4 last week showing a growth of 11% in the last four weeks", adds Raakesh.

Ask him about the track ahead and he says, "Now that Bhakti is aware of the entire drama played by Jethanis, the next highpoint is Mohan getting to know the truth. Later on, the entire family will be aware, and this will bring in a major twist in the tale. Also, there will be a major turning point happening in the life of Bhakti very soon.".

Lastly, when we asked Shobhnaji about the celebration they had on the sets, she replied "We will have our celebration on the sets next week. We were not able to do so on the particular day as we were not ready with a proper bank. I did not want to waste one evening, and so decided that I will host a party next week. I am also planning to take my entire team to Shirdi to seek blessings for the future of the show".
