Gulfam Khan turns back to comedy

After playing the sneaking nosey neighbor in Hi! Padosi...Kaun hai Doshi? on Sahara One, Gulfam Khan is all set to return to comedy with SAB TV's upcoming show RK Laxman Ki Duniya.

We hear that there will be three families in the show, Marathi, Gujarati and Tamil, out of which Gulfam belongs to the Tamil family. She is someone who is constantly at loggerheads with her neighbor Ajji but gets sorted out soon.

"Yes, I am doing R K Laxman Ki Duniya wherein I play the role of a South Indian lady. Normally people consider their husbands as their God, but for me Rajnikant is the ultimate God. I have a huge poster of him in my room and do his pooja everyday," exclaims Gulfam. 

So how difficult is it to play a South Indian character? "It is an interesting character to play and I am learning a few Tamil lines for the show which makes it even nicer for me. I am actually enjoying doing comedy again," states the actress.

R K Laxman Ki Duniya will hit the screens from November 28 at 9:30 PM.
