Gul Panag to walk for Urvashi Kaur at WIFW

Actress Gul Panag will be the celebrity showstopper for designer Urvashi Kaur at the upcoming Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW). She will walk the ramp Thursday.

The former Miss India will be seen flaunting a brown gown by the designer, who will showcase a collection titled Fez.

"The collection showcases elements of minimalist luxury in an autumnal palette of russet leaves, amber yellows, forest greens, petrol blues, sand and sky greys," Kaur said in a statement.

The designer has used hand-woven textiles such as matka, tussar, chanderi and linen silk for the collection, which mostly consists of peplum vests, blouses, wrap jackets, moroccan shalwars and loose oversized pants.

Kaur has also collaborated with a Kolkata-based band Space, members of which will perform live during the show. The band is created and moderated by two women - Tritha Sinha and Ritika Singh. True woman power, one must say!

WIFW, a five-day extravaganza starting Wednesday, will take place at Pragati Maidan.
