Gul Khan talks about the changes Yash and Chikki go through in Hotstar Specials' Aashiqana Season 2

Bringing back double the romance and triple the action, Disney+ Hotstar brings the highly-anticipated second season of director Gul Khan’s romantic thriller, Aashiqana. After winning many hearts for its gripping action, drama and fan-favourite actors - Zayn Ibad Khan and Khushi Dubey, the new season, releasing on 10th October, will bring before viewers a brand new chapter of Chikki and Yash's romance. In this chapter will also be seen celebrated actor Karanvir Bohra, who takes on an all-new avatar in the series that will become a new obstacle in Yash and Chikki’s life.

Audiences have loved the equation between Yash and Chikki in Season 1, series director, Gul Khan, talking about the shifts in their character in Season 2 Gul Khan said, “In Season 2, Yash and Chikki’s fate turns around as Yash finds himself suspended and Chikki starts a new journey. Viewers will see them fight off new threats together by empowering each other in this new phase of their life. Apart from fighting off threats, they will also tread paths of self-discovery which will reveal newer secrets and stories about their lives.”

Adding on to what to expect out of Season 2 she said, “All-in-all, it is going to be a season of smashing action and touching romance with new twists that challenge them at every turn. Cupid this time, takes a different form.”
