It all seems rather complete now. The news about how it was confirmed that Gossip Girl is indeed being rebooted and will be premiering on HBO Max was enough to have the fans extremely elated and excited about the same. While that itself seemed great, things have gotten even better now.

Actress Kristen Bell, who originally served as the narrator of the series during its initial run has been confirmed to return and will be acting as the narrator yet again for the reboot. Yes! That's right. For the uninitiated, the new series was announced in July with a straight-to-series order. It is set eight years after the original show’s finale and will follow a new generation of New York private school teens who are introduced to the social surveillance of the Gossip Girl site. The show will explore how much social media and the landscape of New York itself has changed in the intervening years.

Gossip Girl originally starred Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick and Chace Crawford in leading roles. The ones that will be reprising their roles in the reboot hasn't been confirmed as of yet.
