#GOODNEWS: Vrushika Mehta to return to play the female lead in Yeh Teri Galiyaan?

Fans of actress Vrushika Mehta were left distraught when it was reported that the makers of Zee TV's Yeh Teri Galiyan had relieved actors Manish Goplani and Vrushika Mehta from their contracts for the show.

The show that started with child actors, was receiving a good reception, which made the makers want to extend their story. As it was not fair for them to keep other actors hanging in the balance, they relieved them from their respective contracts, including the leads.

However, things seem to be getting back on track now, with the storyline moving towards the generation leap.

While actor Avinash Mishra, who was last seen in Star Plus' Mariam Khan - Reporting Live, will in all probability bag the the role of the grown up Shantanu, we hear that Vrushika is back in talks with the makers to play Puchki.

Well, we already like the idea of seeing Avinash and Vrushika together on-screen.
