Gitanjali Tikekar blissful after marriage

Remember Gitanjali Tikekar, the actress better known as Aparna in Kasauti Zindagi Kay who got married to boyfriend Sikander Kharbanda last month in ?  Here is the actress talking about her marital life and much more..

Sikander and Gitanjali met each other and fell in love on the sets of Kasautii Zindagi Kay! After a courtship period of two-and-a-half years, they decided to tie the knot. "It happened really fast! On one Sunday, we decided to tie the knot and within 20 days we got married," says Geetanjali with a shy smile on her face. So how's marital life treating you Gitanjali? "It's very good. It's secured, beautiful and I feel pampered. Not just Sikandar, but his entire family pampers me a lot," says the pretty actress. Unfortunately, due to their busy schedules, they have not been able to go for a honeymoon as Sikander is busy with his shooting assignments. "We will soon be taking off for a much-needed break," says Gitanjali. The couple wants to go to for their honeymoon and is just waiting for Sikander's schedule to be free.

Gitanjali is currently playing the role of Maya in Karam Apna Apna. "I am also awaiting a call from no 10 once my track is back. Playing a physiotherapist in the show was fun and since I was playing my age, it was even better," says the actress whose fashion brand LUXE is doing great. "I have three units in Pune and am trying to open one more in another city", she adds. What else is happening on the work front? "Recently I have been offered a character in Saat Phere. The script narration has been done and the negotiations and dates are being finalized, I will let you know when the right time will come", quips Gitanjali. Once all this is taken care of, Gitanjali, who has done a course in digital cinematography, wants do something behind the camera.
