Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Teju’s parents urge her to address Neil respectfully as ‘aap’

The new season of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin introduces Vaibhavi Hankare as Tejaswini, Sanam Johar as Rituraj, and Param Singh as Neil, setting the stage for a love triangle that has viewers divided.

As Neil develops feelings for Teju, she secretly grows closer to Rituraj, even deceiving her parents for their first date. However, the evening takes a dangerous turn, leaving Teju in distress. Just then, Neil arrives as her saviour, changing her perception of him and laying the groundwork for a newfound bond.

In the upcoming episode of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, destiny once again brings Neil and Teju face-to-face with yet another unexpected encounter in Konkan. However, this time, their meeting goes beyond chance—they end up staying at the same resort, ensuring frequent interactions.

While Teju firmly believes that Neil is merely a driver accompanying his employers, the truth is that he is in Konkan for a medical camp. Unaware of his real identity, she will soon discover that he is, in fact, a renowned doctor. Meanwhile, Teju’s parents, who already hold Neil in high regard, remain unaware of his presence at the same resort. Their paths cross once again in the dining area, where they unexpectedly run into him.

Impressed by Neil’s kindness and humble nature, Teju’s parents take notice of how she casually addresses him as “tum,” while he respectfully refers to her as “aap.” This prompts them to suggest that Teju should also address him with the same level of respect.

As their bond deepens, it could be a key reason why, as hinted in the recently released promo, Mohit, while fighting for his life, asks Neil to marry Teju.

In a recently released promo by Star Plus, Teju is seen praying to Lord Shiva, hoping that Rituraj will love her as much as he loves music. Meanwhile, in the U.S., Rituraj is shown rehearsing for his upcoming event.

As Teju makes this heartfelt prayer, she suddenly receives a shocking call from her father, informing her that Mohit has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition and has been shifted to the ICU. Panicked, she immediately tries to contact Rituraj, hoping for his support. However, before she can even explain, Rituraj, eagerly awaiting his performance, dismisses the call, saying he cannot talk at the moment. Without hearing her out, he apologizes and hangs up, leaving Teju heartbroken and alone.

Determined, Teju rushes to the city hospital, desperate to see her father. Upon reaching, she is taken aback to see Neil wearing a doctor’s coat while her father undergoes treatment. As she watches, Neil addresses Mohit as "Dad" and reassures him that he will recover soon. The sight of Mohit’s hand moving brings a sense of relief to Teju, prompting her to step forward.

Mohit, surprised to learn that Neil is a doctor, expresses his astonishment and then makes an unexpected request. He asks Neil if he will fulfill his final wish. Mukta hands over a sindoor box to Mohit, who places it in Neil’s hand, urging him to marry Teju. This sudden proposal leaves both Teju and Neil in shock.
