Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Teju criticises Neil, making it clear she can't marry someone like him

In tonight’s episode of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Teju directly confronts Mukta, demanding to know if she had informed the Chavan family about her unwillingness to get married. Mukta acknowledges that she did, but Teju argues that they continue to disregard her feelings. Frustrated with the situation, Teju expresses her resentment toward the Chavan family for controlling their choices. She declares that she cannot live under such oppressive circumstances. Mukta advises her to adapt to the situation, but Teju questions why she should sacrifice her happiness for others’ expectations. She vents her anger over being coerced into marriage and Vedant’s admission into a government school. Mukta justifies the decision, emphasising that many successful people have built their futures despite studying in such institutions.

On the other hand, Manjari questions Neil about entrusting a life-altering decision to his parents. Neil defends his choice, stating that he trusts their judgment, but he also wonders if he has the right to reconsider. Manjari urges him to stand up for his happiness rather than blindly follow their wishes. Amai, Nandini, and Prachi overhear the conversation and accuse Manjari of misleading Neil against his family. Amai confronts her, demanding an explanation for her interference. Manjari remains resolute, stating that she would normally refrain from intervening, but since Neil is involved, she cannot remain silent.

Later, Mukta shares with Teju that Neil made a surprising statement at the temple—he is willing to marry her and will patiently wait for her response. However, Teju immediately dismisses the idea and questions why Mukta has not outright rejected him. Mukta clarifies that she has already declined Neil’s proposal, but he mentioned that Mohit was planning Teju’s marriage. Assuming that Neil’s words stem from sympathy, Teju believes he now sees the stark contrast in her life before and after leaving Amaravati. She firmly declares that marrying a guy like Neil is out of the question and she can't even imagine it. Mukta, however, defends Neil, highlighting his contributions to their family. Teju remains firm in her stance, asserting that while she does not mean to disrespect Neil, she refuses to accept his proposal.

Tensions heighten when Nandini accuses Manjari of failing to grasp the true meaning of family. The argument escalates until Neil steps in, asking them to stop. Prachi reminds Neil about their scheduled visit to Juhi’s house the next day and inquires whether he will accompany them. Amai warns Neil to keep his focus solely on Juhi. Manjari stands up for Neil, asserting that he does not owe anyone an explanation. However, Prachi urges her to stay out of their affairs. Amai challenges Manjari, asking when she intends to let go of the past. In response, Manjari bitterly declares that she will never be able to forget or forgive. Upset, she storms off, leaving Neil overwhelmed. Unable to handle the tension, he asks everyone to leave him alone.

The next day, Bhushan announces their visit to the Chavan family to finalise the wedding date, confident that Neil will not resist. However, Vinod remains uncertain, recalling past incidents. Meanwhile, Amruta criticises Teju, but Jeetu insists that she should not be held accountable for her father’s mistakes. In his opinion, Teju is a more suitable match for Neil than Juhi. Despite this, Leena strongly opposes the idea, vowing to leave the house if Neil marries Teju. When Bhushan and Jeetu press her for a reason, Leena chooses to keep her painful past hidden—Mohit, her first love, had once humiliated her in front of their friends, ridiculing her emotions. This experience has left a lasting scar, and she refuses to let Mohit’s daughter become a part of their family. Determined to prevent Teju from entering their home, Leena declares that she will never accept her as Neil’s wife.
