As we previously reported on their marriage, we now bring another major update—Rituraj, Teju, and Neil’s already complicated relationship takes an even more complex turn after the wedding.

As recently mentioned, following the wedding ceremony, during a pre-wedding ritual, Teju is asked to sing a song. Though hesitant at first, she eventually sings. This is when Rituraj, drawn by the voice, enters the venue, only to be left stunned upon seeing that Teju is married—and her groom is none other than his own brother, Neil.

Before moving forward, here’s a quick recap. Due to prior commitments and a concert, Rituraj was unable to attend Neil’s wedding but had promised his family and Neil that he would return before the ceremony began, eager to witness Neil and Juhi’s marriage. However, he arrives after the wedding has already taken place, only to be left in shock upon discovering that Neil is now married to Teju instead of Juhi.

Conflicted and angered, Rituraj is overwhelmed by thoughts of how Teju had broken up with him, claiming she wanted to focus on her career rather than marriage. And now, she stands before him as a bride—married into his very own household. Until this moment, neither Rituraj nor Teju was aware of the connection between their familes. Soon, Teju learns that Neil is Rituraj’s brother, while the rest of the family also realizes that Teju is the very same girl from Trimbakeshwar, a fact the cousins recall.

Upon learning the truth about Juhi running away and how that led to her cousin Teju taking her place, Rituraj questions Neil’s expression, noting that he appears surprisingly happy, as if this was what he had wanted all along. However, he soon discovers the depth of Neil’s love for Teju and mocks him, teasingly calling him a chhupa rustam.
