Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Neil takes on Rajat and Teju's murder case as a special duty officer

Tonight's Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin begins with Neil making a startling entry at the Police station with pizza boxes. Keshav tries to stop him at the door, but Neil brushes past, undeterred. Once inside, Nitin questions Neil's motive and sarcastically asks if the office has turned into a café. Neil cheekily responds that it may as well be, given the lack of real progress in the investigation.

Nitin then instructs Keshav to ensure that no one else enters the room, to which Keshav nods and exits. Neil wastes no time pointing out that he's uncovered more leads than the current investigative team and criticises the sluggish pace of the case. He warns that if things continue like this, the investigation may end up being shelved without resolution. Nitin, recalling Srichand's suggestion to assign someone trustworthy to shadow Savi so they can track all their activity, considers Neil's input seriously. Acknowledging Neil's findings, he proposes that Neil join the investigation in an official capacity as an officer on special duty. Seeing Neil's hesitation, Nitin offers him an identity card, convincing him to join their force.

Outside the office, Savi arrives, attempting to see Nitin. However, Keshav blocks her path, reminding her that she no longer holds a position in the police and must respect him and wait her turn just like others, as Nitin is very busy. Savi insists she needs information about her husband's case but is still denied entry.

Back in the office, Neil presses Nitin for the real reason behind the sudden change of heart. Nitin confesses that he wants Neil to team up with Savi. Neil reminds him that he already turned down Savi’s earlier offer, but Nitin explains his concerns. He believes Savi is more focused on proving Rajat’s innocence than finding the real culprit. He fears she might manipulate evidence or twist the truth to protect her husband, even if it means wrongly accusing someone else, possibly even Nitin’s late wife.

To convince Neil, Nitin shares a shocking detail: Rajat and Teju were in contact the day of the murder, and they had exchanged calls and messages. This leaves Neil stunned. Nitin warns him that since Savi is a trained officer, she knows how to handle evidence in her favour. That’s why he wants Neil to work alongside her, to quietly observe her moves and make sure the actual culprit is found. Neil is left wondering about the connection between Teju and Rajat. After some thought, he agrees to join the investigation team.

Just then, Savi storms into the office, demanding answers. She is shocked to see Neil joining hands with Nitin. Nitin firmly tells her to wait her turn, prompting her to leave in frustration. Neil follows her, trying to talk, but she lashes out at him instead, asking him to stay out of her way. Neil walks off quietly, deciding he needs to make her an offer she won't be able to turn down.

Later, Savi returns to confront Nitin again. Their conversation quickly escalates into an argument, with Nitin making sharp remarks. Savi stands her ground and vows to expose the real killer behind her husband's death before walking out defiantly.

Meanwhile, the family prepares to bid farewell to Ridhi. At the airport, Ridhi asks Tara and Bhagyashree to be considerate and not create problems for Savi during her absence.

Determined to gather more information, Savi meets with Srichand. She shows him a photo of Teju and inquires if he knows her. Srichand initially denies any connection but admits that the Goyal Foundation has helped many students. When Savi points out that others mentioned he had personally recommended Teju, Srichand recalls an incident—Teju was struggling financially, and a man tried to snatch her mangalsutra. He offered her a scholarship and promised the man he'd repay the debt if Teju couldn't within six months. He also arranged a job for her as an assistant music professor at the college.

Savi then asks about a student exchange program in Dubai that Teju had attended. Srichand dodges the question, claiming he doesn't keep track of such details. Savi informs him that both Teju and Rajat died in the same incident. Feigning surprise, Srichand insists he doesn't know how they were connected. Savi, overcome with emotion, admits that the truth seems out of reach.

Srichand advises her to prioritise her reinstatement and not get emotionally entangled. But Savi assures him that she will support her family and ensure justice is served by unmasking Rajat's true killer. After she leaves, Srichand calls his associate to inform him of Savi's departure.

Outside, Savi feels trapped in the case with no strong leads. Suddenly, she receives a mysterious call from a man who claims to know the link between Rajat and Teju. He asks her to meet him by the lakeside. Without hesitation, Savi heads there. From a distance, Srichand smirks knowingly, aware that Savi is walking into a trap.

At the lakeside, Savi looks around, trying to spot the caller. Out of nowhere, several goons ambush her. During the scuffle, her anklet (payal) falls off. The men forcefully abduct her and take her to a secluded hideout. To her shock, she finds Ridhi already held captive there.
