Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Neil holds Teju close, Rituraj watches with rising jealousy

Tonight’s Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin episode opens with Leena confronting Neil, expressing her disappointment that he went ahead with the marriage despite her decision to leave the house. Neil tries to pacify her, warning that her blood pressure might rise if she continues to be so agitated. Leena sarcastically remarks that it's ironic he's concerned about her health now.

She continues to blame Neil, but Bhushan steps in, questioning why she’s only targeting Neil when the entire family agreed to the wedding. Leena insists that everyone gave their approval only because Neil agreed to the alliance. She accuses him of never truly wanting to marry Juhi, and reminds everyone that it was always Teju whom he wanted as his life partner — and now, he’s fulfilled that wish.

Leena is still puzzled as to why Juhi suddenly left the wedding venue and directly points fingers at Teju, demanding to know what she did. Teju speaks up, reiterating that she was never in favour of this marriage and only went through with it because she was forced.

Rituraj interrupts, stating that no one can force Teju to do anything against her will, based on what he knows of her. Amruta steps in, urging Leena to move past what’s happened and welcome their new daughter-in-law. However, Leena responds coldly, declaring that the welcome Teju receives will be unforgettable — for all the wrong reasons.

In a dramatic gesture, Leena knocks the aarti plate out of Amruta's hands and kicks the kalash away. She lashes out at Teju once again, declaring that while Teju may have legally married Neil, she will never consider her as the daughter-in-law of this family. With that, Leena walks off angrily. A distressed Teju turns to Neil, asking why she's being blamed for something she never intended. She reminds him that she had asked him not to marry her, but he ignored her plea. Neil apologises sincerely.

Neil then asks Amruta to carry out the traditional welcome for Teju. Amruta agrees and performs the aarti for Neil and Teju, initiating the Gruhpravesh ceremony. As Teju steps into the house, Rituraj taunts that the atmosphere feels more like mourning than a celebration. Alok tells him to be quiet and criticises his attitude. 

As Teju steps forward for the Gruhpravesh ritual, leaving her footprints on the ceremonial cloth, she suddenly loses balance and begins to stumble. Neil immediately reaches out and catches her just in time. The two lock eyes, frozen in the moment, silently acknowledging the unexpected closeness.

Seeing them so close to each other, Rituraj’s envy intensifies. Unable to contain his frustration, he yanks down a garland from the decorative setup in a burst of anger. As Neil and Teju regain composure and stand up properly, Neil’s sister comments on how fortunate Teju is to have a husband like Neil — someone who not only saved her just now but will always stand by her side and protect her. Her words only fuel Rituraj’s fury even more.

Once inside, Teju and Neil offer prayers to the deity. Meanwhile, Rituraj notices Teju’s footprints on the floor and attempts to erase them by hitting a plate containing water , but fails. Jeetu, observing this, tells Teju that this is proof she was destined to become the daughter-in-law of their home. Rituraj, however, silently vows to make Teju realise that no one could love her more than he can — not even Neil.

Later, Amruta brings up an important post-wedding ritual for Teju. Rituraj interjects, saying that none of these customs will hold any meaning unless Leena accepts Teju wholeheartedly. The rest of the Pradhan family urges Rituraj to stop being so negative. Prachi then suggests that Rituraj convince Leena to accept the marriage, but he refuses and walks away, leaving the family tense.

In the precap, Leena continues to reject Teju as Neil's wife and slams the door shut in their faces. Vinod tells Teju that this is her first real challenge as the daughter-in-law of the family and urges her to win Leena over. Rituraj is seen making another remark about Teju
