Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Neil and Juhi's engagement date to be finalised

Tonight's Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin episode begins with Leena reassuring her family that Neil will only marry Juhi. She further instructs Neil to maintain distance from Mohit's family. Leena then declares her decision to contact the Chavan family and finalise the engagement date. Observing the situation, Vinod asks Neil whether he is truly happy with this arrangement. However, Leena quickly interrupts, asserting that Neil's happiness is already accounted for in her decision, making it unnecessary to seek his opinion. Feeling unheard, Neil expresses his frustration, stating that there is no point in voicing his thoughts if they hold no value. He then walks away in anger. Despite his reaction, Leena dismisses his outburst, insisting that Neil has no objections to her decision.

At the Chavan household, a Pooja is being conducted for Mohit's soul to attain peace. The Pandit calls upon Mohit's wife and children to step forward and participate in the ritual. Mukta takes a step ahead, but Laxmi intervenes, clarifying that when the Pandit mentioned Mohit's wife, he was referring to her, not Mukta. With a sharp tone, Laxmi reminds Mukta that neither their family, nor society, nor the law acknowledges her marriage to Mohit. Mukta, with folded hands, pleads with Laxmi to let her be part of the ritual, arguing that she married Mohit with sacred fire as a witness. Laxmi scoffs at her plea, questioning whether Mukta expects her to tolerate the woman who destroyed her marriage sitting in the ritual.

Laxmi then warns the Chavan family that if Mukta is allowed to participate in the Pooja, she will take the property she inherited after Mohit's passing and leave for her maternal home. Omi reacts to Laxmi's stance, while Mukta clarifies that she has no interest in Mohit's property and only wishes to take part in the ritual. Aditi also tries to convince Laxmi to reconsider her decision, but Laxmi remains adamant. Teju steps forward to console Mukta and openly criticises Laxmi's behaviour. Satish scolds Teju for interfering in matters of the elders, but Teju firmly responds that she will not stand by silently when her mother is being disrespected.

Ultimately, Laxmi and Aditi proceed with the Pooja. Meanwhile, Neil arrives at the Chavan residence and overhears a conversation about Mukta not being allowed to join the ritual. He directly questions who has a problem with Mukta's participation. Laxmi boldly admits that she is the one opposing it and makes a harsh remark. In response, Neil informs the Chavan family that he wishes to take Mukta and her children to a temple nearby to perform the Pooja. Satish immediately objects to the idea, but Omi grants his approval, allowing Neil to leave with Mukta and her children.
