Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin: Laxmi stops Teju from eating, continues her harsh treatment

In tonight's Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, Teju appears deep in thought, her mind preoccupied with memories of Mohit. Sensing her distraction, Aditi approaches her with a cup of tea and gently asks if she is thinking about him. Teju acknowledges it, and Aditi offers her tea, initiating a discussion about Mohit. However, before their conversation can continue, Laxmi steps in abruptly, knocking Teju's tea glass away. She sternly instructs Teju to finish washing the clothes first. When Teju asks about using a washing machine, Laxmi ridicules her and insists that she wash them by hand.

As everyone gathers for breakfast, Deepali invites Teju to join them. However, Laxmi sets a condition—Teju can only eat once she has completed all her household chores. Expressing her frustration, Laxmi declares that she has spent her life serving the family, only to be repaid with betrayal. She firmly states that she will no longer take on household responsibilities.

When Teju acknowledges her lack of experience in household chores, she explains that her primary focus has always been academics. Mukta immediately comes to her defense, pointing out that Teju has an important exam approaching. However, Laxmi remains firm in her stance, refusing to let Teju continue her studies. She holds both Teju and Mukta responsible for Aditi not pursuing academics, despite Aditi clarifying that her struggles with studies were personal and had nothing to do with them.

Instead of letting go of the matter, Laxmi directs her frustration toward Aditi, criticizing her for siding with Teju and Mukta. Shifting her attention to Mukta, she questions the lunch preparations. When Mukta explains that she was waiting to ask everyone's preference before cooking, Laxmi responds with a sharp remark, implying that Mukta had not sought her opinion before trapping her husband, so there was no need to ask now.

Laxmi doesn’t stop there and turns her taunts toward Teju, mocking her presence in the house. She insinuates that standing idle won’t work and sarcastically questions if she, too, is trying to manipulate a man. Mukta, unable to tolerate such accusations, steps in and firmly asks Laxmi to refrain from speaking about her daughter in such a manner.

As the situation intensifies, Aditi tries to convince Teju to eat first and then continue working, but Laxmi refuses to budge. She sternly declares that Teju will only have food once the household chores are completed. While Sonali intervenes, acknowledging that she may not fully agree with Laxmi’s methods, she emphasises that Teju and Mukta must also take responsibility for household duties.

Meanwhile, Leena tries to persuade Neil to join the family at the dining table for breakfast, but he refuses, citing work commitments. Determined, she insists, and he eventually sits down, though he remains distant, leaving her disheartened. Later, in the kitchen, Leena confides in Vinod about her worries regarding Neil. While Vinod advises her to give him space, Leena remains firm in her decision to arrange Neil's marriage with Juhi without further delay. She urges Vinod to call Satish and proceed with the arrangements.

At the Chavan house, Teju remains occupied with washing clothes while Mukta focuses on preparing lunch. Meanwhile, Deepali shares her concerns with Sonali regarding the upcoming visit from the groom’s family. She wonders whether they should reconsider stopping the alliance, emphasising that the groom is a doctor, a well-settled match with no demands from their side.

Overhearing the conversation, Laxmi interjects with a sharp remark. She insists on calling them quickly, drawing a comparison to her own past, where another woman took away what was rightfully hers. She then shifts her gaze toward Teju, hinting that she must secure her daughter's future before someone else claims her place.

At the same time, Deepali and Prajakta tease Juhi about Neil. Meanwhile, Vinod contacts Satish and finalises a meeting for the wedding discussion on Sunday.
