Gear Up: Jennifer Aniston-Reese Witherspoon's show's First Look is out

Apple created a revolution in itself when it confirmed that it is coming up with it's streaming service soon and since then everybody has gone bonkers.

To top it off, the lineup and the several shows in development that were announced only made it bigger than ever. One of them was the Jennifer Aniston-Reese Witherspoon collaboration that was enough to be noticed merely by the names that are involved.

And now, only a while ago, the much-awaited first look of the actress' drama, The Morning Show.

The footage brings viewers inside the office of Mitch Kessler (Carell), a morning show anchor who is struggling to maintain relevance in a changing media landscape. The office contains pictures of Carell and Aniston's characters, who appear to be the main Morning Show co-anchors.

The dialogue from the three characters offers differing opinions about how the show should run. "Guess what? America loves me," says Aniston's character. "I feel like people are screaming for honest conversation," says Carell's Kessler. While Witherspoon's character says, "I think they want to know the person behind the facade."

The teaser did not announce a specific premiere date. The Morning Show will debut exclusively on Apple TV+ this fall.

Apple won a bidding war for The Morning Show, which it ordered straight-to-series with a two-season order of 20 episodes. The series hails from Ellenberg's Media Res banner, with Aniston and Witherspoon both exec producing, along with director Mimi Leder and showrunner Kerry Ehrin. The show has been described as an inside look at the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning, exploring the unique challenges faced by the women (and men) who carry out this daily televised ritual.
