Gaurav Sharma elated on gifting himself a new car!

The good looking and talented actor Gaurav Sharma, who is currently seen as Rajkumar in Shashi Sumeet Mittal's popular show Diya Aur Baati Hum is on cloud nine these days. The hard working actor has fulfilled one of his dreams recently. Gaurav has recently bought a new car and he is quite happy about it.

We spoke to Gaurav to know more about his new car and something more as where did he go for a long drive.

An elated Gaurav told TellyBuzz, "I bought a Renault Duster car. I booked this car around three months ago. I wanted a sports utility vehicle and I have been waiting for last few months for the delivery of the car. My Mom had come here for Ganesh Puja and I thought that this would be the right time for me to buy a car. It's a sports utility vehicle and it's good to drive in the city also because it's compact; it's not a huge car. It's comfortable to drive it in the city as well as you can take out on the road also and it has stylish looks as well. I wanted to buy a BMW X1 car but as per my Mom and Dad's suggestion, I felt that these two cars are more or less the same in their features and BMW requires a lot of maintenance. So, I thought that for the time being I can buy this and next year I can go for X1. This year I am pretty happy with this car but definitely I will go for buying a BMW next year."  

Gaurav also shared about his first reaction when he first saw the car at his place. He shared, "I was busy with my shoots so I couldn't go to the showroom to get my car. My Mom had gone to the showroom and she did all the puja there only and the showroom people get the car delivered at my place the next day. I was so excited that day and I rushed to home quickly after my pack up. The moment I saw the car at my place, I was like - wow, finally it has now arrived."  

So, where did he go for his first long drive with his car? He answered, "I went to the Siddhivinayak temple for my first drive in the car and then I had one friend who has a farm house in Karjat so I went for a long drive with my car there. I am looking forward to go for a long drive with my car to Mahableshwar as soon as I will get some free time from the shoots. Meri long drive toh roz hin ho jaati hai sets aur ghar ke beech."

"It's a nice car and I am enjoying driving the car and hopefully I will get my dream car BMW next year," concludes Gaurav.
