Ganga is back as Ganga!

Actress Sangeeta Khayanat is best remembered for her role as Ganga in Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev' apart from a small role in Mata Ki Chowki.'

Her role in Mahadev was one of the most pivotal track twists where she replaced an actress in the role of Ganga.

According to a leading news daily, the actress is set to reprise her loved role in the epic mythological drama show, Siya Ke Ram.' The show has been garnering a lot of appreciation with powerpacked performances from Ashish Sharma as Ram and Madirakshi Mundle as Sita along with a stellar supporting cast.

With Rohit Bakshi recently confirmed to be playing Shiva in the show, Sangeeta Khanayat will be reprising her role of Ganga. The actress stated that she has no qualms in repeating her roles as long as they are loved by audiences. Since her role as Ganga won her a lot of appreciation she is all set to play the role again.

However, on mentioning how can it be different from, she says, "When I joined Mahadev, I replaced another actor (Deepika Upadhyay) and started midway. But here, I will be involved from the beginning. It was also about my comfort and convenience when I accepted the role."

We surely loved her as Ganga in Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev' and can be assured to be smitten by the same role in this opus drama too.
