Game of Thrones Star Kit Harington Checks Into Rehab For “Stress and Alcohol Use”

Game of Thrones is over and the final documentary The Last Watch pretty much gave the series a good closure. But it seems that the stars of Game of Thrones are having a hard time dealing with the end of the show. Recently, Kit Harrington who plays Jon Snow in the popular series, checked himself into a treatment facility weeks before the Game of Thrones finale that aired on HBO.

The 32-year-old actor is undergoing treatment for stress and alcohol use at a luxury health retreat in Connecticut, New England. Sources of an entertainment portal revealed that the show's ending' really hit him hard.' Kit has been at Privé-Swiss, the health retreat for nearly a month now and his treatment reportedly costs a whopping $120,000 a month.

The end of GoT really hit him hard and he suddenly realized that,this is it! The end has come. The show where he has worked for so long is going to end and he just couldn't take it and that resulted in stress and excessive use of alcohol. Hence he is in the clinic mostly for stress, exhaustion and alcohol.

Harrington's rep also confirmed the news to Page Six.com. "Kit has decided to utilize this break in his schedule as an opportunity to spend some time at a wellness retreat to work on some personal issues."

Kit is being treated for stress and exhaustion and alcoholism. His wife Rose Leslie aka Yegritte and family have been supporting him in the troubled times.

We all had a preview of what Kit was facing during the last days of the shoot in the documentary, The Last Watch. The tears never stopped. All the cast members had a hard time with the ending.

Earlier, Maisie Williams and Emilia Clarke were in news for undergoing mental health issues.
