Gagan Malik enters Sangam..

Gagan Malik will be replacing Akshat Gupta in Star Plus' Sangam as the latter refused to be part of the eight year leap to be taken in the show..

Star Plus’ Sangam will take an eight year leap soon, and few new characters will be introduced in the show!!

But before the leap happens, the show will see a replacement as Akshat Gupta who played the role of Rahul Mehra will not be part of the show anymore.

“The actor has bagged the lead role in Ajai Sinha’s upcoming project on NDTV Imagine, so did not wish to be part of the leap in Sangam, where he had to play father to a 7-8 year old kid”, explains our source.

And replacing him is Gagan Malik who was earlier seen in Kumkum and Zee’s Saath Saath.

We talked to the Creative Head, Abivanjana, who confirmed this news and said, “Yes, Akshat’s role will now be played by Gagan Malik. Akshat did not want to be part of the leap”.

According to our source, Gagan has started shoot and will enter 3-4 episodes prior to the leap. The story post leap will show Rahul and Saagar (Chaitanya Chaudhury) as bitter enemies who cannot stand each other”.

We tried calling Gagan, but the actor was unavailable for comments..

Today I watch Tashan. It's totaly bakwaas, like Lollywood or South Indian films.Waste of money and time but I know at the end of Year this idiot movie may win number of Awards as ussual.
U me aur hum Collects 41 cr. in 10 days and still going very strong in USA,UK,Europe and India.But some channels are still busy in propoganda ward against this film.How these nonsense declare a film with more than 50 crore business a flop? In my near U ME AUR HUM is Alltime blockbuster as we have any meaningful movie after a long time.

I love UMAH due to it's nice story,great performances by Kajol and Ajay,outstanding direction and title song by Shreya Gaushal.Today I watch Tashan and it totaly disappoint me but I notice media is absolutely crazy.As they always speak against Ajay Devgan since he married with Kajol.They neglect his perormances in HUM DIL DE CHUKE SANAM,GANGAJAL,ZAKHM,THE LEGEND OF BHAGAT SINGH,APHARAN,KHAKEE,ISHQ,DEEWANGEE,ITIHAS,JAAN,COMPANY,DILJALE,OMKARA and much more while appreciate some actors those work alongwith Ajay like Saif in Akshay in Kahkee,Akshay Khana in Deewangee,Salman in HDDS,Aamir in Ishq etc. No doubt these actors perform also well but credit for hits goes to Ajay like Lajja,Kaal,Kakee,Deewangee all hits due to his outstanding performances.
