Gag gone wrong for Nishant on sets of Ram Milaayi Jodi

Nishant Malkani who essays the role of Anukalp Gandhi in Zee TV's Ram Milayi Jodi has got (in)famous in the industry for the endless hours that he spends in the vanity van, to get ready for his shot!! The sets of Zee TV's Preet Se Bandhi Ye Dori Ram Milaayi Jodi is abuzz with stories that Nishant in fact takes more time to dress up when compared to the lady of the show, Priyal Gor.

Wondering whether this is really true? Well, ask Nishant and he has a sorrow tale to say!!

Says the actor, "While we were shooting for an initial promo of the show, Priyal was in fact asked by the unit members to announce in public that Nishant takes much longer time in the vanity van than her. This was done with an intention to pull my leg, but Priyal being the naughty one, continued to speak about this in every media gathering she was part of, so much so that today, the whole industry is aware of this".

Clarifying more on the matter, Nishant chides, "I take not more than fifteen minutes to get ready and am appreciated for my dedication towards work. This was just a gag that turned out to be a matter of talk in the industry".
