From 'Bandish Bandits' to 'Jehanabad', Ritwik Bhowmik sheds light on his acting journey

Actor Ritwik Bhowmik gained fame with his impeccable acting skills in the show Bandish Bandits. Post that, the actor has done quite a few interesting projects and was last seen in the show 'Jehanabad'. In a recent interview with India Forums, he shed light on his acting journey and how he got to play evolving roles from a student to a teacher. 

Highlighting the journey he said, 

"From Bandish Bandits to Jehanabad, honestly, it has been quite a journey. As you said earlier, I played the role of a student, and now I am playing the role of a teacher. I think I have grown up as a person also. A lot of time has passed. It was close to 4-5 years ago when I was shooting for Bandish Bandits. A lot changes in 5 years, so with experience with the little amount of work that I have done, I have realized that I need to keep adapting to times, and I need to keep adapting to who I am at that stage in my life."

He further added,

"Last year when we were shooting for Jehenabad, when we were making the show, I felt like I was ready to play professor, and it was a very exciting role to be a part of, a story to be a part of. It was a no brainer, and it felt great."

On the professional front, apart from this Ritwik was also seen in the Amazon original film 'Maja Ma'. The film also featured Madhuri Dixit, Gajendra Rao and Barkha Singh in pivotal roles. Currently he is busy filming for the 2nd season of the show 'Bandish Bandits'.
