Freida Pinto has a best friend in Dev Patel...

Simi Garewal has always brought the most desirable in her popular show on Star World, Simi Selects India's Most Desirable.

This week the guest is none other than the Slumdog Millionaire girl Freida Pinto, who has taken a plunge towards Hollywood even before making a mark in Bollywood.

Well, her and Dev Patel's love story has surely been the talk of the tinsel town not only in India, but also abroad. They are like two lucky young guys who have been blessed and certainly seem to be God's favourite children.

Simi asks Freida, "You and Dev are the only two people who can understand the life changes that have come with Slumdog Millionaire, do you ever sit and marvel on how far you have come?"

Freida expresses, "We do and we still talk about it and I think it was easier for me to, kind of, adjust with the reality because he was in it with me. The euphoria was experienced by both of us equally and went through the intrusion at the same time. We both underwent the thing of 'star stuck' at the same time. So all these experiences were simultaneously experienced by both of us at the same time. I feel, in a way, we helped each other come back to reality. There was a little bubble in which I was in; it was absolutely fantastic. A pin broke the burst and he brought me back to reality and we moved on to the next level. He was like my best friend; who else will do that for you other than your best friend. Family is always family and they support you, no matter what, but you need that best friend to understand you completely."
